Ella Anselmi was born and raised in Tauranga and grew up in a cross-cultural family, with an Austrian mother and a Kiwi farmer father, who introduced Ella to living well off the land.
Ella attended Bethlehem College for all of her schooling and, after graduation, moved to Austria for a year to learn more about her mother’s culture and spend time with her family. She studied Communications through Massey University and has worked for UNICEF New Zealand, Tauranga City Council, and Maxim Institute. Ella is passionate about bringing people together for a purpose–learning, building relationships, and creating community to name a few–and she enjoys facilitating events like Summer Conference and the Vocational Programme, both of which allow her to meet new people.
Outside of work, Ella enjoys foraging for fresh fruit and vegetables in her mum’s expansive garden in Tauranga, bringing people together over nourishing food, discovering new bush walks and beaches, and spending time with friends and family. She worships at Central Vineyard and is involved in hospitality and volunteering at the church’s community free store, Gratis.
