Zoe Mitchell

Zoë Mitchell grew up in the Manawatū, spending her early years in a small rural village in Pohangina Valley. She went on to study at Massey University in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Fashion. Whilst working for Massey University in Professional and Continuing Education, Zoë first experienced Venn’s work through Summer Conference at the beginning of 2019. She then moved to Tāmaki Makaurau at the end of 2019 to take part in the Residential Fellowship.

In September 2020, Zoë took on the Store Manager role for The Fabric Store, enjoying the conversations and creative work with home sewers and industry partners. She found the creative space encouraged further exploration of partnering with God in her craft, and loves being able to share this joy with others. She is an avid sewer, often wearing one of her makes around the office.

Zoë joined Venn at the end of 2023 in the Hospitality and events Coordinator role and is passionate about creating beautiful spaces for people to fellowship with one another and enjoy the rich beauty of God in the fullness of life. She spends her free time with friends and family, at the pottery wheel, or worshipping with her church community at St Paul’s Symonds Street.
